After a long couple weeks\' hard work, all the staff members here at Team-Reloaded are proud to officially announce the beginning of the Gates of Ahn\'Qiraj Event. I will now give you a quick rundown of how the event will be working:



Intially, there will be a massive collection of supplies. To take part in this event, simply turn in supplies to the proper NPCs in either the Military Ward of Ironforge or the Valley of Spirits in Orgrimmar. Portals will be spawned in all the capitols to these locations and vice-versa.

To see the status of the collection as it progresses, there are in-game NPCs which will give you an overview of what needs collecting (2 in Ironforge and 2 in Orgrimmar; one represents Horde the other Alliance in each city) You can also check the status of the Gates of Ahn\'Qiraj Event here: http://www.pretbc.com/warefforts.php

Our voting system has been completed and you will be eligible to receive various War Effort supplies after every successful voting session. Please see the in-game NPC \"Furry Fred\" in a capitol city for your rewards.

During this event we will be have a weekly contest. The top 5 characters of each faction that collect the most Commendation Signets that week will win a prize (prizes may include one or more Badges of Charity) Ranking information is available on the website at http://www.pretbc.com/warefforts.php



Once all supplies have been collected, there will be a waiting period of 2 days while the supplies are transferred to Silithus by zepplin.

Once this period is up, the Sacred Gong will become active. The first person to bang the gong and complete the quest Bang A Gong! will be officially named our Gate Opener. Anyone with a Sceptor of the Shifting Sands is free to complete this quest at any time during this phase of the event and receive their title and legendary mount.

During this phase of the event, General Rajaxx will command the Qiraji army in battle against the Alliance and Horde armies. Crystals will rise from the ground in various zones throughout Kalimdor and wreak havok. The ancient colossuses will rise as well, waiting to be challenged. You will be able to take part in all these encounters.



Once 10 hours have passed since the gong was rung, the Gates of Ahn\'Qiraj Event will be officially over. The Temple and Ruins of Ahn\'Qiraj will then be open for raiding at your leisure.



Please note that during any of these phases, including after the event, you will be able to do the Gates of Ahn\'Qiraj quest chain. However, you will only be able to receive your title and mount during the 10 hour war phase.
